Olympic Update
Olympic knitting has been ... challenging, to say the least. Thursday night I had to rip back almost 3 pattern repeats. All of this frogging and no alcohol has been consumed. (Hmm, perhaps that's the problem.) Oh well. This was supposed to be a challenge - and it is.
Here's my progress as of earlier today - I finally got to the border and now I'm almost half way through it (this was taken MANY rows ago):
I had an FO before Olympic knitting really got going - this scarf:
It's the Men's Cashmere Scarf pattern from "Last-Minute Knitted Gifts". I used 2 skeins of Bouton d'Or Ksar (50% camelhair/50% wool) in the Glacie colorway (#639). He loved it!!!
Hey Beth - who is "he"? He's the new man in my life - my boyfriend. Boyfriend?!? We've been seeing each other for a little while now and just let me say - he is the sweetest guy ever! He's definitely a keeper. Yes, I've been very secretive about this, you know, not wanting to jinx anything.
Well, back to the knitting, 'specially since I didn't get much done over the weekend ... He came over with a movie (we watched The Village), then last night we took the kids to the circus - so I really must get back to the needles ... and the figure skating. Smooches!
